Family

Extraordinary blessings! Two Saturdays ago we visited with JT’s birth family…but I’d really rather just call them what they are…”our family”. We love them so so much! This visit was extra sweet because JT and Drew met for the first time. I know I’m always saying, “no words can express how much joy I have”…fortunately for me, this time I don’t need words…take a look into my heart!

Above: JT’s Aunt Summer (Sarah’s sister) and Granddaddy Robert (Drew’s dad).
I attempted pictures of Grandmomma Janet (Sarah’s mom), and Granddaddy Mike (Sarah’s dad) but to my disappointment, they didn’t turn out (extremely blurry)...I desperately want a new (good) camera!

JT was WIPED OUT after all the excitement…he gobbled up the cookies that Grandmomma Janet spoiled him with Winking smileand fell fast asleep!

Luke (5.5 MONTHS)

Whoa…time just keeps flying by…I almost didn’t get Luke’s 5 month old pictures taken before he turned 6 months! Seriously…hard to believe he’ll soon be 1/2 a year old!!!! This little one is an overachiever…already attempting to crawl (he can get up on all fours and rock back and forth…then he sort of lunges ahead to gain ground…at this point he is back on his belly and has to “repeat” the process)…he’ll be crawling before I know it! Happy tears are followed by sad tears, followed by happy…you get the idea!

JT’s Fort

A few weeks ago JT asked me to help him build a fort…I know very little (meaning nothing) about fort building, but I tried! He wanted all his "friends" to come in the fort with us…so we gathered them all up and played for a few minutes before JT said "momma, I think you should go get your camera…we should take a picture of this"…so, after a year and a half of him running from the camera…this was a statement that made me so giddy with picture taking happiness! Btw…"scout" (the dog), cow, pooh bear, and the bumble bee are the "friends" he sleeps with every night. A few nights ago, cow went missing…JT said "I just really can't sleep without cow"…needless to say, I was determined to FIND THAT COW (he was in the car)…plans for a  trip to Toys ’R Us to bring home "extra friends" has been put on my to do list!
