Luke's 4 Month Pictures

Luke is now FIVE months old...(those pics are coming soon)...but for now, I'm catching up on posting his FOUR month old pics :) He is growing so very fast! And is just SO stink'n CUTE!! He honestly smiles almost always...although, when he's hungry, the boy doesn't play if you know what I mean (he gets very vocal about his empty little belly:) Other than that, he rarely cries. He's also taking the Williamson namesake VERY seriously...meaning he talks CONSTANTLY :) Ok, so he can't actually talk, but he sure is trying! He coos A LOT. We are having such a blast with our little Wooky Wook ;)

CHRISTMAS DAY

Christmas day was a lot of fun! I simply wish we could have had more time to enjoy it without having to rush to the next event...this year, we woke up bright and early to let JT and Luke see their gifts from us. Luke was a trooper and seemed to really enjoy the commotion. JT was so sweet...we actually had to tell him more than once...these are your gifts...go ahead and dig in! His favorite gift was his "bobcat digger" but a close second was his binoculars (or his "spy lens" as he calls them...not sure where that came from but we just roll with it). Tori and Sue (Luke's birth family) were very nice to give Jeremy and I gifts this year. We had already opened a potted aloe vera plant which now sits on my kitchen counter. But we waited until Christmas morning to open the other gift...WOW...it was a digital picture frame!!! We are just amazed at their generosity! Jeremy and I exchanged gifts early this year and considering how pressured we were on time, I'm really glad we had. We then jumped in the car (pjs and all) and headed to Jeremy's mom and dad's. Mary (Jeremy's mom) makes homemade donuts every year along with a FULL breakfast...it was yummy! JT was ALL ABOUT those donuts :) Then we opened gifts from each other. Our tradition (started a few years ago) is to take a family vacation in the fall (every other year) and on Christmas morning we only do gifts for the kiddos, but because Luke was so little, we canceled our trip for this year and did gifts for everyone. Uncle Bubba missed Christmas with the family for the first time ever and we all were sad not having him with us. We called him and passed the phone around wishing him a Merry Christmas! We had so much fun, but we had to sort of rush through everything and that made me really sad...I really just wanted to take it all in, but it wasn't an option this year. Shortly after opening gifts, we headed back home to get us all ready for church...thankfully, I had prepared most of what we needed for the day ahead of time...but it was still hard! We made it to church, got the kids settled in their classes, and went to worship the King! It was EXACTLY what I needed...to stop and focus on Jesus! My spirit was filled! As soon as church was over, it was time to rush through the rest of the day. We headed back home...I cooked homemade chicken & dumplings...we had Christmas at Jeremy's extended family (which is ALWAYS so fun...those people are crazy...in a good way:)...then back home to cook again for Christmas night supper with my side of the family. This year, my sister hosted it and as always...it was wonderful! My mom is the best cook in south mississippi...seriously!!!! The food was soooo yummy!!! Every year, my mom gets a birthday cake for Jesus and we sing happy birthday to Him! This is one of my favorite parts of the day...it really shows the kids who we are celebrating! Next was our traditional scavenger hunt for the kiddos...it was short and sweet this year (with only 1 clue) but as always, there was lots of screams and laughter when the treasure was found! Then it was time for gifts AGAIN :) We all are so spoiled! JT even got his very own air compressor! :) We all were very tired! With a feeling of being so very blessed...we headed home...FOR BED! As JT was walking to his room, he turned to me and said, "Momma, I really love all my presents". What a sweet way to end the day!

Weeks after Christmas(yes, my tree was still up, haha)...Eva, Luke, and JT's step stools FINALLY arrived:) They are way too cute...worth the wait!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!!!!!

***FYI***

My computer recently crashed...the program I had been using to upload pictures to this blog wasn't able to be restored (it was a great program...very easy to use)...SO...until I can figure out how to get another decent program (the one I'm using is horrible), I will not be posting as many pictures as I normally would...I have lots more cute Christmas photos but the last two posts literally took me HOURS :(

Let's BEGIN to Play Catch-Up...

So, a lot has happened since my last post. I am NOT even going to ATTEMPT to catch up in one post. I'll start with Christmas Eve!

Christmas was extra sweet for us because we had a new little Williamson to open presents with this year...Luke was wide-eyed at all his gifts and enjoyed being held and loved on by grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. Of course, JT is at the really FUN age for Christmas...his excitement was contagious...to say the least! He has such a grateful little spirit which made my Christmas heart just swell with joy!

Thanks to Luke's generous birth mom and birth grandmom...our Christmas started on Christmas Eve. We told JT that he could open one gift from us and all the gifts from Luke's birth family before going to bed. Luke also got to open his gifts from his birth family...he got a little help "opening" his gifts from his big brother :) It was such a sweet time of remembering the sacrifice by Luke's incredible first family. Among Luke's gifts were some cute clothes, a big :) BIG :) stuffed doggie, a turtle toy, and Momma Tori's childhood book (with the sweetest letter to Luke)...There may have been tears (from the girl in the family) :) They were so sweet to include JT...they gave him a firetruck (which he l.o.v.e.s), a GIANT monkey (which may or may not have scared me the other day...it's as big as me...and, well, I thought it was someone in JT's room...haha), and some very cute pjs!
THANK YOU, MOMMA TORI AND GRANDMOMMA SUE!!!!

HAVE I MENTIONED HOW MUCH I ADORE CHRISTMAS?!!!?
